Green Taxes was founded in 2011 by Jaimie Eck (maiden name: Green - thus the name of the company!)

Currently, she has a combined total of 30+ years’ experience as a CPA and accountant, with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting. Jaimie spent half of her career working as Controller/CFO positions for private companies and the other half of her career working at CPA firms preparing audits and reviews and financial statements and tax returns for companies of all types and sizes.

Fast forward to 2011, when she decided she was ready to do business the Green way.

“What is the Green way?” we hear you ask.

Well, the Green way is, in part, inspired by Jaimie’s dad, Terry Green. He has CPA experience going back 50+ years. He is a good man who taught Jaimie to always treat people with courtesy and respect.

The Green way thanks to Covid19 is now entirely virtual - saving resources and time and money - and staying healthy - by working entirely remotely with clients through a secure online client portal.

The Green way left behind the traditional mentality of “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Jaimie is all about continually improving and updating processes and procedures and making things work better.

And, the Green way advocates strongly for small businesses and maintains partnership with clients year-round for long-term client success. Jaimie teaches her clients about taxes and tax planning so they can manage their businesses with more confidence and security.
